Lovely to meet you!
I’m Jaime Chismar, a freelance designer and photographer working in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
As an undergrad, I studied to be a photojournalist, then fell in love with the web. This was 1998 — and I haven’t looked back. Along the way, I’ve worked with some amazing folks at Minnesota’s largest companies, media organizations, local nonprofits and family owned businesses. Together, we’ve told some incredible stories about people and places near and far. It’s always nice to win awards with your team, but it’s even more gratifying when your project can serve your community.
As a proud Minnesotan, I feel a strong connection to the people and places in my state. From my small back yard to our vibrant Twin Cities community with its abundant natural wonders, I enjoy sharing my discoveries and adventures near and far in my photo blog.
I’m also the founder of All Are Welcome Here, a social enterprise business determined to positively shape and actively create the world we want to live in and the world we want our children to inherit. It all started with a lawn sign and grew into something greater than I could have ever imagined.
